This year Belfor wanted to celebrate their 50 years with a sustainable gesture to nature. A symbolic and powerful way to welcome their clients and plant trees together. We all gathered in the forest in Froideville, VD on April 29th to celebrate and help the planet.

This project is located in the heights of Lausanne, where trees have been suffering from climate change (windstorm and droughts). The weakened spruce trees were attacked by the bark beetle and had to be cut down. In order to adapt this beautiful forest, which welcome the habitant from the region, we planted Linden, Hornbeam, Chestnut and Douglas trees, species more resistant, and adapted to climate change in order to create the forest of tomorrow.
