tree planting projects
Pampigny, VD
This project is located in the middle of a beautiful forest in the district of Morges. The spruce trees that had been planted in monoculture suffered from climate change and the bark beetle developed there. The trees had to be cut down, we planted larches, a more resistant species, to adapt this forest to the climate of tomorrow.
Juriens, VD
This is a living hedge project to boost biodiversity in the region. Indeed, 10 species of trees have been planted to provide food and shelter for wildlife. This hedge will have a beneficial effect against erosion and will keep more humidity during droughts. Species planted: cherry, plum, elder, field maple, male dogwood, honeysuckle, rosehip, fusain, hazel and hawthorn.
Cugy, VD
This project is located in Cugy in the canton of Vaud. This beautiful forest of Cugy is a delight for the inhabitants of the surrounding area. It has been exposed to bark beetle and drought and needs support for the rejuvenation of the species. The company Incyte Biosciences International S.à r.l. has participated in the creation of this forest of the future by planting Douglas fir and sycamore maples which will bring a beautiful biodiversity.
