Mission of Almighty Tree
Almighty Tree offers a local response to these global challenges. Collaborative, of public interest and conducted on the scale of a territory, it accompanies an awareness of Swiss companies and the necessary change in consumption habits. The goals to be achieved can be listed as follows:

Planting trees in Switzerland to have an impact on the climate, biodiversity and the local community.

Support forest owners to replant trees as needed (without double subsidies)

Encourage a mix of species in the forest and plant species adapted to the climate change

Raise awareness of the population's carbon footprint and propose solutions to reduce it compensate

Promote the use of wood for construction, heating and wood products local origin

Bringing the population and companies closer to nature by planting trees in Switzerland
Project selection criteria

Planting of 50 to 5000 trees
-
Private or public forest, assumption of costs excluding subsidies from the Confederation and the Canton

Project with interest for biodiversity

Planting of various species in order to diversify the Swiss forests

Interest in awareness and outreach to the population, including planting day

Native: sessile oak, hornbeam, sorb, wild pear, elm, linden, wild cherry, walnut, flat maple, Scots pine, chestnut, larch, flowering ash, ...
